Cobi - Bell-Boeing V-22 Osprey | Set 5836

Cobi got many things right with the Bell-Boeing V-22 Osprey. I like the proportions, the brilliant cold-white color of the First Flight Edition, and the included stand as well. It’s also impressive that they took the time to accurately represent the different orientations of the transverse rotors, showing once again Cobi’s commitment to an accurate model design.

What I didn’t like were the bulky ailerons and the Black tiles of the stand, which I would have preferred to be of higher quality. To many scratches for my taste.

Whether you like the Cobi typical gaps between the pieces in combination with the White parts of the First Flight Edition is a matter of personal taste.

Undeniable is, however, that Cobi has once again put an excellent building experience into the box. Tons of SNOT technique combined with a high-quality instruction manual is still a difficult package to beat. Few sets can match the building experience of Cobi products.
