Opinion

The LEVC London Taxi by CaDA is a technic/system hybrid model designed by Markus Schlegel . I was particularly drawn to the interesting building techniques used in the system part to make the beautiful shapes of the vehicle. But the technic part is also impressive. Even pure technic sets rarely achieve such a smooth steering.

CaDA provided the taxi with a lot of metallic silver parts, which looks great. I would have preferred chrome, however, which no manufacturer does as well as CaDA. Stickers, always an issue in CaDA sets, were thankfully few and can be easily skipped.

Building the model is enjoyable but not quite easy. This is not a beginners set.

What bothered me was the quality of the black parts, which appear slightly grayish and are not color consistent.
